Championing Notts is a corporate citizenship scheme in which Experience Nottinghamshire calls on leading companies and institutions to give fulsome backing to our marketing activities. Those who join the scheme will make significant donations of time and money. In turn, these commitments will support specific promotions designed to raise the profile of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Having pledged themselves financially, a named individual within each company or institution is required to front and assist Experience Nottinghamshire’s activities and initiatives. Additionally, this individual - the Champion - is charged with adopting the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire visual identity as appropriate to his/her organisation, as well as infusing the Notts advantage. Professor John Heeley and Kay Hornbuckle ensure the scheme runs smoothly and professionally. Champions are networked, and receive a range of specified corporate benefits. These include positive press, PR and other exposure. We want the world to recognise who our Champions are. It goes without saying that those companies and institutions who sign up as Champions are good corporate citizens.
